About Us

Kenowa AMBUCS is the local chapter of National AMBUCS, Inc.,
serving the Grandville/Jenison/Hudsonville area in West Michigan.

National AMBUCS, Inc., is a non-profit service organization.
consisting of a diverse group of men and women
dedicated to inspiring mobility and independence for people
with disabilities, including disabled veterans.

Our Mission Statement:

Inspiring people to conquer challenges related to
mobility and independence,
through a nationwide network of volunteer chapters,
working in partnership
with physical, occupational and speech therapists;
by providing Amtryke adaptive trykes,
scholarships for therapists and
many forms of community service.

Kenowa AMBUCS are local business and professional leaders,
pitching in “Shoulders Together” to make it happen!

We meet for lunch at noon on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Our meetings are held at Sunnybrook Country Club,
624 Port Sheldon Road, Grandville, Michigan.

Dues are just $60 per quarter and include two lunches every month!

In addition to fund-raising and doing good works in the community,
we hear interesting presentations by speakers from the area,
have site tours of area facilities,
and have fun at social events throughout the year.

The most rewarding aspect of membership in Kenowa AMBUCS
is helping disabled persons, including disabled vets,
achieve greater independence.

We give away Amtrykes® therapeutic tricycles,
provide home medical equipment to local citizens,
fund scholarships for students of physical and related therapies,
and provide other valuable assistance to the community.

Kenowa AMBUCS have fun while serving the community.
Most of our efforts directly benefit worthy recipients
right here in our community.

We welcome new members any time of the year – come join us!
