Today’s Meeting:

No speaker today so club business was our primary focus and the updates follow, below. Please note that the Tuesday, March 6 club meeting will be a field trip to the Pines Learning Center, 2101 52nd Street SW in Wyoming, just east of the Byron Center Avenue intersection.   The club has previously provided a number of AmTrykes at this school and we will be making another AmTryke presentation at this meeting so you won’t want to miss it. We hope for a large club turnout and President Kelli asks that those attending RSVP to her ( so that we can order enough food for everyone.

50/50 Winner:   No drawing today

Thank You Note from Family Hope Foundation

The club received this note from FHF’s Lara Kitts: “Dear Friends @ Kenowa Ambucs, thank you for your generous and ongoing support of Family Hope Foundation. Your gift makes a real difference to families in need. The mom of a scholarship recipient wrote, ‘This is the HOPE that we have been waiting and praying for. My son will finally be able to receive some of the much needed therapy that insurance doesn’t cover’. You are so appreciated!”

Memorial Day Race

A new logo is ready to go, a change in the youth age groups is in the works, Jenison Public Schools is back in and the committee is locking things down. Next race committee meeting is at noon on February 13 at Kelli Williams’ office.

Do You Have Your Restaurant Calendar?

Calendar numbers are dwindling but they are still available. This fundraiser, done in collaboration with the Walker chapter, is structured so that there is a daily weekday drawing for a gift card to one of several sponsoring restaurants – Uccello’s, Bud & Stanley;s, Vic’s, Hudsonville Grille, Outback, Amore, Grand Villa, Honey Creek Inn, Old Boys’ Brewhouse or Osgood Brewing. To be in the drawing, participants buy a $20 calendar with the entry application. There are 260 chances to win a restaurant gift card of at least $20. We are asking each member to buy a calendar, sell calendars to others, or buy several to give away as thank you gifts for your business. Kelli has the calendars.
