Today’s Meeting:

A small but mighty group of Ambucs met today.  Those present wrapped up Spring Roundup with additional points toward the drawing for “fabulous prizes” that will be held at the next meeting on April 4.  Our speaker was Gary from CareLinc, a Grand Rapids-based home durable medical equipment and medical supplies provider with many locations in Michigan and a growing presence in Ohio.  They offer for sale (and some for rent) wheelchairs, walkers, knee scooters, suction machines, CPAP’s, hospital beds and much more with most billable to insurance and some private pay.  CareLinc’s trained customer service staff works to find and maximize coverage for their customers and often seeks creative solutions for those with a more limited ability to pay.  Referrals to CareLinc come mainly via doctors but also by assisted living centers, skilled nursing facilities and hospices.

50/50 Winner:   Eric Hartman
